Abstract

One of the factors that influence the elderly to come to prolanis is family support. Family support is included in supporting factors or supporting factors that can affect a person's behavior and lifestyle so that it has an impact on health status and quality of life. The research method used is quantitative correlation with cross sectional approach. The sample used in this study were 62 elderly prolanis members at the Katasura Health Center. The sampling technique used is purposive random sampling. The instrument used to record data using a questionnaire. The analysis used is Chi-Square. The results of this study are based on FSS, most of the elderly members of prolanis have a high level of family support and a p-value of 0.00 (<0.05) is obtained which means that Ho is rejected so that there is a relationship between family support and the relative prevalence of the elderly coming to the Kartasura Public Health Center prolanis. correlation -0.000 which means the higher the family support, the more active the elderly come to prolanis.
