Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Develop earth layering animation video learning media for Geography Teachers with earthquake disaster material as a result of movement plate. (2) Knowing the appropriateness of using animated video learning media in improving student learning outcomes in Geography lessons on earthquake disaster material due to plate movement. This study develops a product in the form of interactive multimedia software based on animated videos which can be used as an interesting learning medium by collecting questionnaire data given to geography MGMP teachers. The data analysis technique is descriptive. The learning media developed are animated videos, animated video learning media for earthquake disaster material as a result of plate movement for MGMP teachers in Kendal Regency. Before developing learning media, researchers first conducted an analysis of the needs of students' and teachers' learning media. The feasibility test analysis was carried out by the MGMP teacher in Kendal Regency. The results of this study based on the analysis of the validation test calculations, it is known that the average R Count value is 0.7407 > the R table value is 0.349, it can be stated that all questions are "VALID". From the eliability test, it is known that Cronbach's Alpha value is 0.6869 > R table value of 0.349 it can be stated that the items are reliable or feasible to be used in research. From these two analyzes, it can be concluded that the product of developing animated video learning media is feasible and can be used in research and can be used as a learning medium for class X high school students and MGMP teachers in Kendal Regency
