Abstract

The purpose of this study to analyze the effect of Financial Attitude, Financial Literacy, and Investment Interest on Student Investment Decisions (case study of UMS students). The population in this study were students of the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta who had investment products. With the research sampling technique according to the Lemeshow formula as many as 100 respondents. The data analysis method in this study used the Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis method with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) equation model using software (SmartPLS 3.2.9). In carrying out data analysis, three stages of analysis were carried out, the first was the measurement model (outer model), the second stage was the structural model (inner model), and the third stage was hypothesis testing. Results Based on the research that has been done, it shows that financial attitudes do not have a positive effect on investment decisions of UMS students, financial literacy has a positive effect on investment decisions of UMS students, and investment interest has a positive effect on investment decisions of UMS students.
