Abstract

Indonesia's export commodities are the result of natural wealth that grows in various regions, the abundance of natural resources is then carried out export activities. One of the products of natural wealth exported by Indonesia is tea. Tea commodity has an important role in the national economy, namely as a source of foreign exchange from a country. Based on this, it is necessary to look at the potential and development of tea exports in Indonesia, because tea exports can be influenced by several factors, namely production, GDP of the destination country, exchange rates, international tea prices, and domestic tea prices. This study uses secondary annual time series data from 2000 to 2018. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis using the Ordinary Last Square (OLS) method to analyze the factors that affect Indonesian tea exports. This study shows that the exchange rate and world tea prices have an effect while production, United States GDP and domestic tea prices have no effect.
