Abstract
This study was conducted to analyze and examine the effect of poverty, economic growth, minimum wage, and population on the Regency/City Human Development Index (HDI) in the Province of D.I. Yogyakarta period 2010-2020. The data collected is secondary data, which includes poverty rates, economic growth, minimum wages, and population and the Human Development Index (HDI). The data collected by the documentation technique sourced from the Central Statistics Agency D.I. Yogyakarta. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. The model chosen in this study is the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results showed that simultaneously the level of poverty, economic growth, minimum wage, and population had an effect on the Human Development Index (HDI) in the D.I. Province. Yogyakarta. Partially shows that poverty has a negative effect on the Human Development Index (HDI) and significantly, the population has a positive and significant effect on the Human Development Index (HDI), while economic growth and minimum wages have no effect on the Human Development Index (HDI).
