Abstract

Basic needs are things that must be met so that life can continue. In social life ‎there are those who are well off and there are those who experience difficulties, ‎therefore one of the ways taken by people who have difficulty in meeting their ‎needs is debt. This study aims to determine the practice of debt and debt ethics ‎according to the perspective of Islamic law. This research is deductive ‎qualitative research sourced from field research. Data collection methods used ‎are observation, interviews and documentation. From this research, it is known ‎that the practice of debt and receivables of the Donowangun village ‎community is in accordance with debt ethics according to the perspective of ‎Islamic law. However, it is expected to be able to record it to avoid debt ‎disputes.‎
