Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze: (1) the effect of training and development practices and job satisfaction on performance; (2) the effect of training and development practices on performance, (3) the effect of job satisfaction on performance, (4) the effect of training and development practices on job satisfaction, and (5) the indirect effect of training and development practices on performance through job satisfaction. This type of research is quantitative research using a survey design. The research was conducted in LazisMu Solo Raya with a population of 69 employees. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling. Data was collected using observation techniques, questionnaires, and documents. Data analysis was performed using a path analysis model. Based on the results of the analysis, the research concludes that: (1) Training and development practices and job satisfaction together have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) Training and development practices have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (3) Satisfaction work has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (4) training and development practices have an effect on job satisfaction, and (5) training and development practices have an indirect effect on performance through job satisfaction. The mediating effect of job satisfaction on the effect of training and development practices on performance is partial mediation.
