Abstract

The person who plays an important role in school is the teacher. In schools, teachers are the main focus in implementing learning. An educational institution or school is not called an institution if there is no educator or teacher in it. An Islamic religious education teacher is someone who provides education or knowledge in the field of religious aspects and guides students towards achieving maturity and forming a moral Muslim personality, so that there is a balance of happiness in the world and the hereafter. The role of a teacher is not just a transfer of knowledge but most importantly is a transfer of character. Based on the focus of the problems described above, the purpose of this research is to describe what roles are performed by Islamic Religious Education Teachers in fostering students' morals in MTs. Al Irshad Landmark. Then to describe the morals of students in MTs. Al Irshad Landmark. And also to describe the factors that influence the moral development of students in MTs. Al-Irsyad Tengaran. In this study using a type of field research or field research, the approach used by the author is a phenomenological research approach. research results with the findings of previous studies. This analysis process is carried out through three steps: the data that appears in the form of words from the results of observations, interviews, document digests, recording tapes and so on. This study resulted in several things, namely, the role of Islamic religious education teachers in moral development at MTs Al-Irsyad Tengaran as good examples and role models (Khudwah Hasanah), student morals at MTs Al-Irsyad Tengaran which are already classified as good, factors that influence moral development in MTs Al-Irsyad include formal factors that come from teaching and learning activities in schools and routine parenting activities by the coaches as well as regular studies held every week. The next factor is the informal factor that comes from the environment and family.
