Abstract

The implementation of buying and selling transactions requires a systematic and mutually clear weighing. The right weighing system will affect the results of oil palm management. Oil palm is an industrial/plantation plant that is useful as a producer of cooking oil, industrial oil, and fuel. This research is included in the field research research (field research) with a descriptive qualitative approach. The location of this research is in Ekamulya Village, East Mesuji District, Lampung. The subjects in this study were land owners, buyers, harvesters and weighers in Ekamulya Village, East Mesuji District, Lampung. Meanwhile, for data collection the author uses 3 methods of data collection, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the sale and purchase of oil palm in Ekamulya Village, East Mesuji District, Lampung, has not met the conditions set by Islamic law. The sale and purchase of palm oil that is implemented in Ekamulya Village can provide a very large opportunity for someone to commit fraud. The sale and purchase of palm oil with this unilateral weighing system does not meet the requirements for valid consent and qobul where someone who transacts must be in the same place or in different places but at the same time and know each other. According to the analysis of Sharia Economic Law, a legitimate sale and purchase must meet the pillars and conditions that have been determined, while the sale and purchase of palm oil with unilateral weighing in Ekamulya Village has not met the legal requirements that have been determined by Islamic law.
