Abstract

Garbage is one of the problems faced by the people of the city of Surakarta. The accumulation of waste in the Putri Cempo TPA can have an effect for the quality of public health. One of the efforts in anticipating the impact is the selection of basic sanitation in the form of clean water facilities, clean water supply facilities, latrine facilities, types wastewater disposal sites, types garbage bins, and waste disposal facilities. The purpose of this study is to analyze the basic sanitation of the community around the Putri Cempo Final Disposal Site (TPA) in Mojosongo sub-district, Jebres sub-district, analyze the life behavior of the community around the Putri Cempo Final Disposal Site (TPA) in Mojosongo sub-district, Jebres sub-district, and analyze any diseases. suffered by the local community as a result of the Putri Cempo TPA in the Mojosongo village, Jebres district. The research method used is an observation survey and interview method with a sampling technique using purposive sampling in the form of non-probability sampling and probability random sampling. The research analysis method is using qualitative descriptive analysis methods and spatial analysis. The results of this study are based on the results of the description test of the people who live in the Putri Cempo TPA area, such as Jatirejo, Kepuhsari, Pelangi, and Sibela villages, which have an adequate supply of clean water with an average volume of community water use per individual of around 35 to 40 gallons. A total of 88 respondents used well water. The community-owned latrine facilities are neck-type latrines as many as 94 respondents. Respondents as many as 64 respondents dispose of wastewater channeled through open sewers. Types of trash bins 71% use trash cans that are not waterproof and closed. 87% of waste disposal facilities are disposed of in the TPA. Most people behavior in life has implemented a healthy life following the recommendations of the Ministry of Health. The most common disease suffered by the community is itchy skin 58%..
