Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of firm size, asset structure, profitability, and liquidity on the capital structure of food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2020 period. This study is a quantitative study using secondary data in the form of financial statements of food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2020 period. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling method and obtained 15 companies that fit the criteria. The data analysis used is the classical assumption test, multiple linear analysis, coefficient of determination (R2), t test and F test. The results of this study indicate that firm size, asset structure, and profitability have a positive and insignificant effect on capital structure. liquidity have a negative and significant effect on capital structure.
