Abstract

Eating fruits and vegetables is very important, especially for school-age children. However, the level of consumption of vegetables and fruit in school children is currently still low, therefore it is necessary to have the right health promotion media to educate children about the importance of consuming fruits and vegetables. The purpose of writing this literature review is to examine articles related to the use of health promotion media in increasing the knowledge of elementary school children about fruit and vegetable consumption. This research was conducted using a literature review with data sources in the form of five articles/journals obtained from google Scholar, with the criteria of articles published between the last 10 years. The results of the analysis of the five articles show that audio-visual media is more interesting because in it there are elements of sound and images so that children will more easily remember the information that has been received.
