Abstract

Clinical symptoms in patient heart failure can occour continuously. The recurrence in patient heart failure because disobedient of therapy. It was because lack knowledge of self management. Giving the education hope that improve knowledge, deflation of hospitalization, decrease of sign and symptoms, and improve quality of life. The purpose of this study to know effect education e-health to knowledge self management on patient heart failure. The study used an pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design at RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta on 68 respondents. This data collection with purposive sampling. The instruments used modified questionnaire Ducth Heart Failure Knowledge Scale (DHFKS). The data were analysis using with test wilcoxon. The characteristics of the data are the majority of man (51,5%), age 46-65 years (51,5%), class functional NYHA II (54,5%), and high school education (45,5%). Pre-test mean value of 59.57 and post test 70,21. The p value is 0.007 where mark <0.05 so there is effect application education e-health in improve knowledge self management on patient heart failure at RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. Nurse can improve health in media education about self management at home.
