Abstract

Online learning is a new thing in nursing education, especially at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta and has a great influence on students, giving rise to many perceptions. In addition, the continuity of online learning must be evaluated to get good quality. One of the indicators to assess how good the quality of online learning is is by knowing student satisfaction with online lectures. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between student perceptions of the FIK UMS nursing study program and student satisfaction with online lectures during the COVID-19 pandemic. This type of research is a quantitative research with a correlative method. The sample in this study was 90 students of UMS nursing. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling technique with inclusion criteria. The correlation technique uses Spearman rank. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The results showed as many as 18 students (20%) had a good perception and 72 students (80%) had a bad perception of online lectures held during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results also showed that as many as 16 students (17.8%) expressed satisfaction and as many as 74 students (82.2%) expressed dissatisfaction. In addition, if the PPKM condition has entered level 1, it is found that 82 students (91.1%) chose the offline learning method while 8 students (7.8%) chose the online learning method. The correlation significance value is 0.01 which means that there is a correlation between perceptions and student satisfaction, the Spearman's rho correlation value shows 0.664 which means that the correlation is included in the category of strong correlation, while the type of relationship is positive so it can be interpreted that if students' perceptions are good, the level of satisfaction is also high. high or vice versa if the perception of students is bad then the level of student satisfaction is low.
