Abstract

Land use change is the increase or decrease in a land use that underlies the use to other uses based on the type of land use gradually. Ngemplak District is one of the areas that has a fairly high change in land use with various types of land use. This study aims to analyze the distributionnof landuse change in Ngemplak District in 2010 and 2020 and to analyze the dominant factors that influence land use change in Ngemplak District in 2010 and 2020. This study uses the Overlay (Overlay) method by using ArcGIS in data processing. Quantitative descriptive method is used to analyze the distribution of land use change and the dominant factors that influence land use change. The survey taking technique uses the purposive sampling method which is used to correct the results of image interpretations that are still uncertain in the field. Meanwhile, data collection techniques from literature studies or literature studies are in the form of population data and administrative data of Ngemplak District in 2010 and 2020. Based on the results of determining land use over a period of 10 years, it produces a change of 456.368 Ha which includes public facilities, toll roads, irrigation rice fields, and fields or fields. which are generally included in the category of increasing area and decreasing area which are spread in almost every village in Ngemplak District. The reduced land use is 293,242 Ha which includes irrigated rice fields and fields/moorlands. While the dominant factors that influence in Ngemplak District include Accessibility, Facilities and Infrastructure which is strengthened by the results of interviews.
