Abstract

This study aims to determine the dimensions of the business strategy of teak wood craftsmen in the industrial area and teak wood crafts in Jepon Blora. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. This research was conducted in the teak wood industry and craft area in Jepon, Blora, at Cepu–Blora street, Ngawen, Karangpace, Jepon, Blora Regency, Central Java. The object of research is teak wood craftsmen in the industrial area and teak wood crafts in Jepon Blora, while the subjects or informant persons are teak wood craftsmen in the industrial area and teak wood crafts in Jepon Blora. This study using primary data. The data collection technique carried out by the researcher was an in-depth interview technique, namely by digging in-depth information about the strategy for improving the business performance of finished wood craftsmen in the industrial area and teak wood crafts in Jepon Blora. The data analysis used in this study is the Analysis Interactive Model from Miles and Huberman (2007), namely data collection, data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions or verification. The results in this study can be concluded that the business strategy of teak wood craftsmen in the industrial area and teak wood crafts in Jepon Blora is carried out by applying a combination of marketing through online media, business partners, and resellers. Meanwhile, the dimensions of the business strategy of teak wood craftsmen in the Industrial area and teak wood crafts in Jepon Blora included: Innovation Strategy, Marketing Differentiation, Breadth Strategy, and Cost Control Strategy.
